Tulsa Stage & Top has been bringing to life the most iconic annual community events in Tulsa since 1997
The Story of
Founder Vivian Steele
A Tulsa native, Vivian Steele graduated from TU with a degree in Mass Communications. Her career has spanned Advertising, Marketing and Promotions for Non Profits, and Radio Stations. Her love of festivals began when she was offered the position of Public Affairs Administrator for the River Parks Authority. The perfect outlet to exercise her creative muscles as she began creating lunches and concerts, fireworks and many other events during her tenure including the now nationally ranked Oktoberfest. Steele says she can identify with her clients as they produce community events, raise money, cautiously watch the weather, and attract enough crowd to “make their nut” as we say in this industry. She is always willing to open a door to any event expert who might add some timely and necessary element. “Helping make the Tulsa community alive and vibrant are bonus benefits of what we do!”Steele exclaimed. Tulsa Stage and Top was launched over 20 years ago when she left the radio group she was working for. Customized stages built by her late husband Joe Richey were designed to be the appropriate size and price range to fit most local events and budgets.
